Anonymous Story
My uncle’s house has an old basement that nobody likes going into.
One weekend, while helping him move boxes, I noticed a narrow wooden door behind a shelf. I asked where it led.
He looked confused and said there was no door there.
We moved the shelf completely, and there it was. Small, old, and painted the same color as the wall. It had no handle, only a keyhole.
My uncle swore he had never seen it before, even though he had lived in that house for twenty years.
The next day, he called a contractor. When they went downstairs, the door was gone.
Not locked. Not covered.
Gone.
The wall was solid concrete. No frame, no outline, no sign that a door had ever existed there.
My uncle sold the house less than a year later.
