My uncle was obsessed with ancient civilizations.
Not in a normal history way. He believed humanity had been influenced by something older, something that came from the sky and was later remembered as gods.
He talked about the Anunnaki constantly.
Most of the family dismissed it. He had shelves of books, printed articles, and handwritten notes connecting ancient myths, star maps, mining legends, and stories of beings who “made mankind in their image.”
I thought it was nonsense when I was younger.
Then after he died, I found a notebook he had kept hidden inside an old toolbox. On the first page, he wrote:
“They did not leave. They changed how they appear.”
The rest of the notebook was filled with symbols and dates.
One date was circled.
It was the day he died.
I still do not believe everything he believed. But I also cannot explain why he circled that date years before it happened.
